Have time on my hands for this at the moment, not working and other half works away from home.

Have ‘Too Big To Fail’ on, been watching a lot today and lately on American politics and current affairs. Wouldn’t say this was a new interest, but have been watching more and more of late. Not going to discuss what my political leaning is, never tell anyone who I vote for, even my partner. I do have particular favourites, Fox News to laugh at(who can deny that after the no-go city that is Birmingham!!!), Rachel Maddow, I like her style and commentary, the insight is thought out. Jon Stewart and Bill Mayer for commentary, I have a lot of time for John Oliver, thank god for YouTube:)

I discovered I have a fascination with US politics, well always had an interest, but now I have a bit more time, I’m getting more into it.

So I begin this blog, why?

I guess it’s a venting process, a way of clearing out my thoughts, I over think a lot, so this might sort some of the mess in my head out:)

What’s this about? well, my thoughts as a gay man, who isn’t obsessed with being a gay man, so this could include anything from relationships, current affairs, history, politics, sex, anything my head is focused on at that particular moment.

Do I explain where i’m coming from, my current situation and reality or just get into it?

I don’t really have an answer to this, only thing I will probably say is this will be, like me, a bit random.

The name, ‘Diary Of A Former Young Gay’, just means I’m reaching 40!!!!! Old enough to know better, but not too old to act it;)
